| Physical and Chemical Properties | Rubidium oxide (Rb2O), is one of the oxides of rubidium, yellow, has a strong deliquescence. Rubidium in the air combustion, the main generation is rubidium peroxide, only a small amount of rubidium oxide and ultra-Rubidium oxide formation. When exposed to air, rubidium oxidizes rapidly, loses its metallic luster, and produces a series of colored oxidation products. Low oxides of rubidium are produced, such as bronze Rb60 and red-brown rb902. The final oxidation product of rubidium is mainly rubidium peroxide. |
